Me, myself and Proust

Kolatio a zis ca ar fi dragut sa completez chestionarul lui Proust; eu voiam sa fac asta de acum mai bine de un an, cand raspundeau la intrebarile de acolo oamenii de la Dilema in revista si eu visam sa fiu una dintre ei :).

Bun si-asa, mi-am facut Dilema mea :P (nu, strugurii sunt foarte buni, de ce intrebati?) si raspund aici:

Impulsiveness

Sense of humour

Brains put @ use

Loyalty

5. What is your principle defect?
I tend to treat people as if I were a princess, moreover a brutally honest one :)

6. What is your favorite occupation?
Reading/writing (it's hard to choose)

7. What is your dream of happiness?
To have love and laughter around all my life

8. What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
War

9. What would you like to be?
Umm, I don't know, to be the one who eats the cake and has it, too?

10. In what country would you like to live?
Holland

11. What is your favorite color?

The eagle

Oh...ok: P.G. Woodehouse, Jane Austen, Nick Hornby, Philip Roth, Tracey Chevalier, Aldous Huxley, Guy de Maupassant, Bulgakov

15. Who are your favorite poets?
Gosh, can I say Minulescu? Well, frankly, the person who writes Alanis Morissette's lyrics...and I believe she is that person :). Bob Dylan, nonetheless.

16. Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
Bertie Wooster from Woodehouse's books. And I used to adore d'Artagnan, of course, but now I'm getting too old for that :).

17. Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Umm, that's a very close call between Eliza Bennet (who eventually wins) and Olguta from La Medeleni

18. Who are your favorite composers?
Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, pretty much all the Russians :), Verdi, Pink Floyd

19. Who are your favorite painters?
Vermeer (and many other Flamand guys), some of Dali's works, Leonardo

20. Who are your heroes in real life?
Mother Theresa, Gandhi, that woman who first refused to go to the back of the bus, the suffragetes, all the people who fight for others' rights and liberties. And Madonna, on a less serious note :).

21. What is it you most dislike?
Aggressive stupidity, noise, that I am not able to stay on a diet...

22. What natural gift would you most like to possess?
Grace

23. How would you like to die?
Quickly

24. What is your present state of mind?
Peaceful, but longing for emigration, if I can put it this way

25. To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Those coming from people's fears and frustrations

26. What is your motto?
Where's the acid? (kiddin')...I don't really have a motto, but if I were to choose one, I'd go with: "Be as kind as possible, help as much as you can" :)
